Aged oolong, deep roast
Lao Dong Ding, 2026
Weight
Harvested in 2018. Since then, this tea has been re-roasted twice a year using traditional charcoal firing. Over 8 years, it underwent 16 charcoal-roasting cycles, transforming a light Dong Ding into a completely different tea. This is the result of natural changes taking place over a long time—a process that cannot be artificially replicated or replaced.
The aroma reveals dried fruits, fruitwood campfire, strong tobacco, and extra dark chocolate.
The taste is sweet and pastry-like, with a delicate smoky note and a touch of spice. In later infusions, it unfolds with notes of dark bread and a spicy, smoky sweetness in the aftertaste.
