“Gentlemen’s” Teacups with Saucers, 90 ml
Option
“Gentlemen’s” Teacups with Saucers
I don't know about you, but I don't come across teacups like these very often. And while cups on stands are a common sight in the dry brewing tradition, these particular ones carry an unmistakable touch of British colonial influence and a distinct European vibe. They bring to mind Dalmatians—an elegant, refined, and truly “regal” breed!
You can see the dark specks on the white glaze for yourself, but look a little closer and you will also notice a few prominent craquelure lines across the body of the cup and a delicate crackle mesh on the saucer. Over time, these lines will darken, developing a noble patina.
Just imagine the striking contrast of an inky, oil-dark Shu puer against the white glaze, and it instantly becomes clear what tea they were made for (though they are wonderfully versatile).
