Crafted from high-quality sun-dried sheng maocha from Mengku. Fermented in 2006 and pressed in 2017, it has been kept in dry storage, wonderfully preserving the tea without any harsh "fermentation" notes.

The aroma is sweetish, with notes of dates and plums. The flavor opens with tree bark and transitions into the rich complexity of Cahors wine. At times, plum takes center stage. From the very first steeps, the liquor is dense, robust, and velvety, leaving a dark chocolate aftertaste.

A powerful energizing effect sets in from the first cup, yet without any overstimulation. The superior quality of the raw material is felt most vividly in the tea state, while the overall vibe and character are reminiscent of fine aged whiskey.
