Shu Puer "Ripe Plums", 2023

1 000 ₴

Weight

1

Crafted from old-tree leaves of Meiziqing Mountain and fermented using the proprietary "Tea Evolution" technique.

The ancient, vine-like trees from which the leaves are harvested grow among the clouds at an altitude of over 1,800 meters above sea level on Meiziqing Mountain. This is an exceptional terroir: tea trees thrive in a deep forest under natural shade and high humidity, rooted in volcanic soil. Together, these conditions bestow upon the tea a remarkably pure and sweet profile.

The dry aroma reveals hints of cane sugar that evolve during brewing into vibrant fruit notes (plums and peaches).

The liquor is silky, sweet, and crystal-clear, devoid of any musty notes reminiscent of damp earth, dust, or cellar. This puer can be truly described as delicate in the finest sense of the word. The flavor profile features notes of fruit tree bark and plum, rounded off with a lingering, sweet aftertaste.
It gently eases you into a wonderfully invigorated state!

Even so, I highly recommend adding this tea to your collection for long-term aging. Its defining feature lies in Master Li Yan's fermentation technique (we'll cover it in detail in a dedicated post), which builds immense aging potential so that over the years it can transform ("evolve") into something completely extraordinary! This tea is crafted for special moments and for observing how time transforms not only tea, but ourselves as well.
